Amberley Court is a delightful Victorian Guest House has been refurbished to a high standard, enabling us to offer all rooms with full en-suite facilities at affordable rates. Conveniently situated in Southsea, we are just a few minutes walk from the seafront and within easy reach of many attractions Southsea and Portsmouth have to offer. You will receive a warm friendly welcome and relaxing stay all year round.

Ideally situated in a residential part of central Southsea with unrestricted on the road parking, yet only minutes away from all the attractions and amenities that Southsea and Portsmouth have to offer.
 
Amberley Court has been established for many years under the same ownership and has acquired a reputation for its high standards of cleanliness and cheerful service. We offer a warm and friendly welcome, whether for business travelers, holiday break or just a weekend break, where we offer safe and comfortable run accommodation all year round.
 
A full English breakfast, vegetarian or continental breakfast is served in our sunny Victorian breakfast room which has a conservatory with a flow through fishpond from the courtyard; we serve breakfast from 7.30am until 8.30am weekdays and 7.30am until 9.00am at weekends, and is cooked to order by our chef.
 
During your stay you might like to relax for a while in our modern and welcoming lounge, whilst discussing with your friends, which of the many options of things to do in Portsmouth you will choose that day. The many choices of places to eat and drink will also make your stay with us a culinary experience as you can eat around the world within walking distance from the guest house.
 
We hold full fire safety certification and a food hygiene certificate the guest house has, for the last 7 years achieved a 3 Diamond grading from the English Tourist Council and the AA and is listed at Portsmouth Visitor Information Centres.

Ferries to the Isle of Wight and France are a short 5-minute drive away as is the Naval Dockyard, which houses the Historic Ships and Marine Heritage site. Adjacent to the dockyard is our famous Gunwharf centre which offers major discount stores and our long awaited Spinnaker Tower.
 
Southsea’s delightful seafront which runs from the east end of the island, Eastney, to the west end finishing at the dockyard, is just a few minutes stroll from Amberley Court, and many guests have mentioned how they enjoyed the walk along to the Dockyard/Gunwharf area. En route you can admire Portsmouth Councils wonderful and varied gardens, something for everyone’s taste, and also gain an insight into the important role Portsmouth and her citizens played during the Second World War, by visiting the absorbing museums such as the Royal Marines Museum at Eastney and the D Day Museum just past our impressive South Parade Pier.
